LOCAL RESIDENTS SET TO CLEAN UP IN CANNES

If that’s music to your ears, then the good news is that Myhome, the UK’s leading residential cleaning company has just launched its first operation in France with a branch in Cannes.
Friends and business partners, Anabela Park and Katherine Watson-Smith from Cannes, head up a team of highly-trained, fully-insured, cleaning professionals who are now operating throughout Cannes and the surrounding areas.
Anabela and Katherine previously held Office Management roles. They were both looking for a fresh and exciting business challenge and wanted to find a business that they could work on together within their local community.
They were prompted into their new business venture after coming across an increasing number of people who were dissatisfied with their domestic help.
Anabela says: “Everybody seemed to have a tale to tell about their cleaner – standards might slip after a few visits, perhaps staff couldn’t be relied upon to turn up on time or even at all! Consequently, we realised that the demand in the area for high-quality, trustworthy cleaning staff was extremely high.
We knew that Myhome prided itself on the workmanship and reliability of its employees and provided a service to rival its competitors, so felt confident we would be able to offer local residents a first-class cleaning solution with the highest levels of customer care.”
Myhome’s cleaning service is tailored to meet the individual needs of each client, so before Anabela or Katherine can prepare a personalised quotation, they will visit the client at their property to assess their requirements and discuss any special requests.
Myhome carries out a very thorough clean from ceilings to skirting boards and just about everything in between - and yes, that includes the ovens. Says Katherine: “We provide a flexible service and are just as happy to accommodate customers who require one-off spring cleans as well as regular cleans.”
Katherine points out: “Our one-off cleaning services are great for people in a variety of situations; before they move into a new home; before moving out of rented accommodation and undergoing the dreaded inventory check; in emergency situations such as after parties, before family are due, or after the builders have been in. Whatever the scenario, we’re here to take the hassle out of your housework!”
Myhome cleaning staff have completed a comprehensive training programme and undergone a strict vetting process, including police checks.
This includes training on Myhome’s exclusive Tri-colour cleaning system, an organised, colour-coded plan that lets cleaning staff know exactly what to do in each room of the house and which cleaning cloths and equipment should be used - to avoid spreading dirt and germs.
The company uses its own equipment and supplies of the latest tried and tested cleaning products to ensure sparkling results. This means there’s no wear and tear on client’s equipment and savings can be made on household cleaning products.
The company was launched 11 years ago with a pilot operation originally developed and tested by Unilever. Anabela and Katherine plan to recruit more staff this year, so they can offer their services to even more local residents.
